Capitolio

This huge building stands for a powerful symbol in self-government. The Capitolio houses the Puerto Rico Legislature. The person who promoted to build a capitol for Puerto Rico was the former resident Comissioner of Puerto Rico known as Luis Muñoz Rivera. El Capitolio is located astride the Ponce de Leon and Muñoz Rivera avenues in the area of Puerta de Tierra in Old San Juan.
