Raíces Fountain

Raíces fountain is located in Paseo la Princesa. A great family picture can be taken there with the historic fountain. You can make wishes by throwing the coin in the fountain in your visit to Old San Juan. It is considered to be one of the most romantic spots in Old San Juan. It was completed in 1992 to celebrate in memory the New World’s 500th anniversary. This collection of bronze statues honor Puerto Rico’s mixed  heritage represented as a ship being steered out into the open sea with leaping dolphins leading the way to a better future.
