Polvorín Santa Elena

This building, was built in 1783 to support the defensive installations in the northern enclosure. Due to the close proximity to the urban area, it was banned to store gunpowder in this building in the year 1870. This building can be found near the Santa Elena Bastion, right next to the "Cuerpo de Guardia del Bastión Santa Elena". This truly is a very important and historic building.
