This fort was built during the 1700th as a replacement for El Boquerón. They were both used to defend the attacks from Sir Francis Drake, a famous pirate, from the 1595. Francis Drake was not successful in his attacks. This place can be found in the mouth of Condado Lagoon. This fort is an astonishing, well-built structure.
