La Garita del Diablo is located near La Perla. However its recommended to take another route for safety. That route would be to go to the Castillo San Cristobal and ask the closest official there.La Garita del Diablo means: the screams of the devil in english; which is part of a legend where soldiers would scream to each other of boredom and to see if they're OK. This all went wrong as one of the soldiers responded in a screech which only contained fear as they never found the soldier again and it is said that the devil was at fault.
